Artist's Description
TOUCH OF HISTORY. WICKLOW. IRELAND by JENNY RAINBOW.
I found this spiritual place with hystoric touch somewhere amongst the Wicklow hills in Ireland. This white abandoned house and the mighty picturesque tree just caught my attention...
I processed this image in the vintage style with sepia tones for more feel of history.

Jenny Rainbow is my artistic and photographer's pseudonym and for now its truly became my second name. I am moving a lot overseas, influenced by many different cultures. By my graduation Im a Fine Art artist and my specialty was design and painting, but when digital camera's technology starts its glorious way I changed a direction and now Im dealing only with photography, but very often using in images the Fine Art techniques and effects. Photography is my passion & the camera is my great faithful partner, anywhere I go. Thank you. Helen! You are right there are many abandoned houses all around the Ireland. The place where this image has been taken located amongst the Wicklow hills in Ireland. We had a very pleasant walk about 9 km around and my Irish friend called this a Spiritual place, and I can understand why. This place is definitely bringing the calmness for the mind and heart and giving an energy. The soul just was flying there so free...

Love this sense of history in this old tree sheltering the corner of an old stone building abandoned. Both look so fastened into time together, like two old friends. So many people had to leave Ireland during the famines of the Nineteenth Century.
