Description
Brown Jewel 1. The Beauty of Gladiolus by Jenny Rainbow.
This brown beauty I found at Olomouc exhibition 'Flora' (Czech Republic) in the ocean and very mix of other gladiolus flowers and did not get a chance to get the true name of this hybrid. Out of curiosity I made a research in Google and also failed with this exactly velvetb brown shade.
So I did not want to leave it unnamed and gave this brown beauty the name 'Brown Jewel' as was completely in awe with such unusual colored exquisite flower.
When it comes to plant fashion, brown is peaking right at the top of the trendy-plant Richter scale right now, so inject a bit of chic into your living space!
Gladiolus is a genus of perennial cormous flowering plants in the iris family. It is sometimes called the 'sword lily', but is usually called by its generic name. The genus occurs in Asia, Mediterranean Europe, South Africa, and tropical Africa.
