Description
DARK POND
A DARK POND BY MOONLIGHT
IF YOU LOOK ARROUND
THE SPINNING LEAF
THAT RIPPLES THE MIRROR
THAT TURNS INTO OCEAN
THAT CRASHES ON ROCKS
WHICH BECOME IVORY TOWERS
THAT TURN INTO CRYSTAL
IF YOU GAZE
CAN BE FOUND
THE FLAUTEST AND THE PIPPER
BENEATH THE SURFACE
THAT MYSTACLE SOUND
WILL TAKE YOU ON JOURNEYS
THEN BRING YOU TO GROUND
AND NOW BY THE FIRE
EMBERS SLEEPING
STIRRED BY THE PAST
MEMORRIES COME SEEPING
DAVE DRAGON

,, Jenny, Perfect compostion. The darks in this make it seem very mysterious. It is beautiful. F/V

Absolutely amazing! How did you get the perfect light and dark! The perfect composition - Flawless - if it were painted could not be more perfect. Perfect luminous verdant dapple of lily pads and leaves across the polished lacquer of the lake or pond, so clearly defined against the dark and with mist of fern and forest embracing above altogether dark and radiant and perfect.
Jenny Rainbow replied:
Sandy, Im so grateful for your wonderful analysis of this image, you can see so much...! Thanks a lot!

Oh, how much I love the stillness and the mysterious feeling of this lily pond you've photographed so wonderfully, Jenny. f,v
