Cayenne Capers 1. The Beauty of Irises by Jenny Rainbow.
I have been so much blessed to get entrance to the Iris exhibition before its official opening! I was so much enjoying visual celebration of colors for these tender exquisite Gods creation as Irises without any crowd around! It gave a chance to merge with this beauty and get an utmost from this shooting. So now sharing this gorgeous beauty with all of you!

From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1961: Shown on the front cover of this catalog in precise and accurate detail. Vivid and flashing with the sunshine on it or through it ... glowing and alive on a cloudy day or in pouring rain. For rich, intense color in a plicata, this red-hot eye-catcher has no parallel. Dominant color is fiery burgundy to red pepper but a minor area on the falls is lit with cream. Beard is orange-bronze.
From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog for 1962: A large, broad-petaled flower. A plicata, this is so completely colored in rich cinnamon and burgundy red that only a minor area of cream on the fall prevents it from being a self. Very showy.
